Sylvia Jones is our best friends mother. She had simple knee surgery on Tuesday. And today, Saturday, she passed away. Thankfully, Dana was already at her mom's home in Michigan when she went into cardiac arrest. Sylvia was an awesome woman. She treated everyone as though they were her own kids. We've only hung out with Sylvia maybe 5 or 6 times when she came to California to visit John and Dana. But we felt we knew her forever. I'll miss getting 20 joke emails from her everyday.
